He said in an interview that the services have been exciting, providing spiritual healing to Liberians that thronged at their various gatherings.Fasuekoi said the team arrived in Liberia on January 23 to carry out a series of crusades or soul-inspiring gatherings across the country in partnership with Rev. Christian Dagadu of the Christian Evangelistic Pentecostal Church. He said the duration of the crusade is from January 23 to the end of March, and is held under the theme: “Walking under an open heaven.”He said Rev. Dagadu is a product of a bible college founded by the SLBC in the United States and his preaching in Liberia has made impact on the lives of many Liberians. He pointed out that the SLBC engages in crusades annually in Liberia and Sierra Leone to empower pastors as well as winning souls for Jesus Christ. He noted that the ongoing crusade in Monrovia is aimed at equipping pastors and church workers in order for them to be sensitive to their working environment in the country. Some of the pastors at the ongoing crusade made presentations on marriage and the obstacles that are associated with them and how to overcome them.He said a similar crusade is planned for Gbarnga City in Bong County. The SLBC has established a bible school in a private building at the Bong Mines Bridge on Bushrod Island in Monrovia. Other areas the crusade is expected to be held include Virginia, Morton Corner, and Kebbah Field.Besides, Fasuekoi added that a parcel of land has been secured in Lower Caldwell for the construction of the Spiritual Life Bible Church Bible School to provide professional training for a broad spectrum of pastors and church workers in Liberia. He explained that doctors Judy and Joseph Fornara, founders of the Spiritual Life Bible Church, have traveled to 112 countries and continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nationalities.Fasuekoi recalled that the SLBC founders encountered difficulties in Liberia during their gospel work, adding that even during the civil crisis in Liberia, they encountered rebel commanders who on several occasions threatened their lives.Fasuekoi noted that Liberians have been receptive to their good news.On the SLBC team are Bishop Michael Cole of Gospel Outreach Ministries; Rev. Claudius Cooper of Christ Chapel of Praise International Ministry, USA; and doctors Judy and Joseph Fornara, founders of SLBC.Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)last_img
